  5.     Father: Getu Mulleta, 30, farmer, finished 3rd grade
  6.     Mother: Zenebu Tulu, 25, housewife/farmer, took adult 
  7.     literacy
  8.     Son: Teshome Getu, 10
  9.     Daughter: Like Getu, 8
  10.     Son: Mamoosh Getu, 7
  11.     Daughter: Mulu Getu, 3
  12.     Son: Kebebe Getu, 8 months

  14. 2.    How large a family did each parent come from? 
  15.     Getu: 9 siblings
  16.     Zenebu: 9 siblings

  18. 3.    How much time does your family spend together at 
  19.     work and play?
  20.     All our time is spent together except when someone leaves to 
  21.     visit a relative elsewhere. There is basically no time spent 
  22.     playing--maybe a wedding every once in a while. But still no 
  23.     breaks because there is so much work.

  25. 4.    How far do you commute to work or school?
  26.     Work: Farmland nearby.
  27.     School: School and a small market are about 1 hour 
  28.     walk away.

  30. 5.    What kinds of transportation do you use? How much time is 
  31.     spent in transport?
  32.     One horse and 2 donkeys are used mainly to go to market. It 
  33.     is about 3 hours to the large market, and 1 hour to the smaller 
  34.     market. Generally we walk.

  36. 6.    Do you actively practice your religion? How does it affect 
  37.     your daily life and community?
  38.     Yes, we attend church on the days we are supposed to. We 
  39.     attend the monthly gatherings and strive to live our lives as     the church teaches. Only elders attend every Sunday.
